Benchmarking industry leaders for transformation: Zhang Hongzhe visits Beijing Lirr and Sinosteel Luonai to study digital‑intelligent upgrading

Zhang Hongzhe led a team to visit Beijing Lirr and Sinosteel Luonai to conduct a specialized study on digital and intelligent upgrades. The team toured Beijing Lirr’s Luoyang production base, observing its intelligent production lines, automated high-bay warehousing, DCS firing systems, and industrial AI control platforms, while gaining insight into the implementation of their integrated digital management system (encompassing ERP, MES, and WMS). Discussions focused on the integration of AI with refractory material manufacturing, digital management and control, supply chain collaboration, and implementation strategies for the intelligent and digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

At Sinosteel Luonai, the team inspected a "5G fully connected" smart factory and discussed the company's proprietary "AI4S" materials R&D model. They also exchanged views on industrial 5G applications, data integration, challenges in digital implementation, and phased rollout pathways.

Zhang Hongzhe noted that the mature experiences of these two enterprises offer valuable references for the company's own intelligent transformation. Moving forward, the company will proceed based on its specific circumstances, advancing its digital, intelligent, and green transformation in stages; by leveraging digital and intelligent technologies to develop "new quality productive forces," it aims to contribute to the high-quality, innovative development of the refractory materials industry.
