High-Quality Fused Cast β-Alumina Block RTK-H from China Suppliers and Factory - Exceptional Corrosion Resistance

Introducing RTK-H, a premium refractory product composed of nearly 100% β- alumina, featuring a dense structure that ensures exceptional resistance to spalling. This innovative material is engineered to withstand the harsh conditions of strong alkali vapor, exhibiting remarkable corrosion resistance. With an almost non-existent glass phase, RTK-H prevents contamination of molten glass, making it an ideal choice for various applications in glass production, As one of the leading China suppliers of refractory materials, our factory specializes in delivering high-performance solutions tailored for superstructures. RTK-H is specifically designed for use in oxy-fuel combustion furnaces and superstructures with minimal glass raw material scattering. It excels in applications such as working ends, doghouse arches, and hearth covers, all while maintaining low contamination levels in molten glass, Choose RTK-H for your refractory needs and experience unparalleled quality and performance with the trusted China supplier dedicated to advancing your glass production processes

    Brief Introduction

Fused and cast alumina products are alumina series fused and cast blocks made of high-purity alumina raw materials, which are melted in an electric arc furnace at a high temperature above 2000 °C. Due to the use of high-purity raw materials, less impurities and almost no matrix glass phase, it has excellent low contamination performance to the molten glass.
The crystal phase structure of the fused alumina series is composed of α-alumina and β-alumina, which has different composition ratios. The products of different varieties have different properties and can meet different operating conditions. According to its crystal phase structure, it is divided into α-β corundum brick (RTK-M), β-corundum brick (RTK-H) and α-corundum brick (RTK-A). Further classification shall be made according to the appearance quality specification level and casting method. These classifications can meet the different application requirements of fused cast corundum series in glass furnaces and metallurgical electrolyzers.
RTK-H is composed of nearly 100% β-alumina with a dense structure and high resistance to spalling. especially showing extremely high corrosion resistance to strong alkali vapor, almost no glass phase, and no contamination to molten glass. It can be used for superstructures with little glass raw material scattering or oxy-fuel combustion furnace, and it can give full play to its excellent performance.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What are fused cast alumina products?
Fused cast alumina products are high-purity refractory blocks melted in an electric arc furnace at temperatures exceeding 2000°C. They feature low impurity levels and minimal matrix glass phase, offering exceptional resistance to glass melt contamination.
What is the composition of RTK-H corundum brick?
RTK-H consists of nearly 100% β-alumina. It features a dense structure, high resistance to thermal spalling, and outstanding corrosion resistance against strong alkali vapor.
Where is RTK-H typically applied in glass furnaces?
It is ideal for superstructures with low glass raw material scattering or in oxy-fuel combustion furnaces where alkali vapor corrosion is severe.
How are fused alumina series classified?
Based on crystal phase structure, they are classified into α-β corundum brick (RTK-M), β-corundum brick (RTK-H), and α-corundum brick (RTK-A), each designed for specific operating environments.
Do these products contaminate the molten glass?
No. Because they are made from high-purity raw materials and contain almost no matrix glass phase, they exhibit excellent low-contamination performance.
