High-Performance Fused Cast 33 AZS Block RTK-AZS33 from China Suppliers - Durable Factory-Grade Refractory Material
Brief Introduction
RTK fused cast AZS blocks are made of high-quality purified raw materials, using a special electric arc furnace, and a fused cast process that has undergone long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This process has almost no carbon contamination from the electrode. Due to the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, RTK fused cast AZS series have special and high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass, and have little contamination to the molten glass.
Fused cast AZS products can be divided into 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36 # AZS block (RTK-AZS36) and 33 # AZS block (RTK-AZS33) according to the different ZrO₂, content in the chemical composition.
RTK-AZS33: A high-performance refractory material, particularly superior in preventing molten glass from being contaminated. It has little tendency to cause stones, bubbles and matrix glass phase precipitation in the glass. It is applicable to the upper structure of the melting end, the side wall of the working pool, the paving blocks and forehearth, etc.
Standardly poured AZS33 block is suitable for working tank, forehearth, superstructure and crown, while AZS33 poured without shrinkage cavities is suitable for tank sidewall, tank bottom, forehearth, C-shaped block, doghouse arch, superstructure and etc.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary applications of RTK-AZS33 blocks?
RTK-AZS33 blocks are highly versatile and ideal for positions where preventing glass contamination is critical. This includes the superstructure of the melting end, the side wall of the working pool, paving blocks, and the forehearth.
How does standard pouring differ from non-shrinkage casting in AZS33?
Standardly poured AZS33 blocks are suited for working tanks, forehearths, superstructures, and crowns. On the other hand, non-shrinkage casting AZS33 blocks eliminate internal shrinkage cavities, making them highly suitable for critical areas like tank sidewalls, tank bottoms, C-shaped blocks, and doghouse arches.
What is the typical chemical composition of RTK-AZS33?
RTK-AZS33 features a typical ZrO₂ content of 33.5%, SiO₂ content of 15%, with the remainder being Al₂O₃. Impurities such as Fe₂O₃, TiO₂, and alkaline oxides are strictly kept at or below 2.0% to ensure high purity and performance.
Why do RTK fused cast AZS blocks have low carbon contamination?
They are manufactured using a specialized electric arc furnace with long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This oxidation fused cast process ensures that there is virtually no carbon contamination transferred from the electrodes to the refractory material.
What is the bulk density and porosity of the dense part of RTK-AZS33?
The dense portion of the RTK-AZS33 block features a high bulk density of 3.80 g/cm³ and a very low apparent porosity of only 0.7%, ensuring exceptional mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
