Introducing RTK-AZS33, a top-tier refractory material developed to excel in preventing contamination of molten glass. Manufactured in China, this high-performance product shows minimal propensity for stone formation, bubble creation, and matrix glass phase precipitation, ensuring superior glass quality. With remarkable resistance to both acidic and alkaline slag, as well as molten glass, RTK-AZS33 is perfect for harsh chemical environments. Ideal for various applications, including the upper structure of the melting end, side walls of the working pool, paving blocks, and forehearth, this product is sourced from reliable suppliers and produced in state-of-the-art factories, ensuring you get the best quality for your needs

    Brief Introduction

RTK fused cast AZS blocks are made of high-quality purified raw materials, using a special electric arc furnace, and a fused cast process that has undergone long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This process has almost no carbon contamination from the electrode. Due to the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, RTK fused cast AZS series have special and high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass, and have little contamination to the molten glass.
Fused cast AZS products can be divided into 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36 # AZS block (RTK-AZS36) and 33 # AZS block (RTK-AZS33) according to the different ZrO₂, content in the chemical composition.
RTK-AZS33, a high-performance refractory material, is particularly superior in preventing molten glass from being contaminated. It has little tendency to cause stones, bubbles and matrix glass phase precipitation in the glass. It is applicable to the upper structure of the melting end , the side wall of the working pool, the paving blocks and forehearth, etc.
Standardly poured AZS33 block is suitable for working tank, forehearth, superstructure and crown, while AZS33 poured without shrinkage cavities is suitable for tank sidewall, tank bottom, forehearth, C-shaped block, doghouse arch, superstructure and etc.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the main raw materials and manufacturing process of RTK fused cast AZS blocks?
RTK fused cast AZS blocks are manufactured from high-quality purified raw materials using a special electric arc furnace. The production involves a fused cast process with long arc melting and oxidation treatment, which ensures almost no carbon contamination from the electrode.
How are RTK fused cast AZS products classified?
They are classified into three types based on the ZrO₂ content in their chemical composition: 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36# AZS block (RTK-AZS36), and 33# AZS block (RTK-AZS33).
What are the key advantages of using RTK-AZS33 blocks?
RTK-AZS33 is highly effective in preventing molten glass contamination. It minimizes the occurrence of stones, bubbles, and matrix glass phase precipitation, making it ideal for maintaining glass quality.
Where is RTK-AZS33 typically applied in glass furnaces?
It is widely used in the upper structure of the melting end, the side walls of the working pool, paving blocks, and forehearth structures.
What is the difference in application between standardly poured and non-shrinkage AZS33 blocks?
Standardly poured AZS33 is suitable for working tanks, forehearths, superstructures, and crowns. In contrast, AZS33 poured without shrinkage cavities is ideal for critical areas like tank sidewalls, tank bottoms, forehearths, C-shaped blocks, doghouse arches, and superstructures.
What are the chemical and physical characteristics of RTK-AZS33?
RTK-AZS33 features a typical ZrO₂ content of 33.5% and SiO₂ content of 15%. Physically, it has a bulk density (dense part) of 3.80 g/cm³, an apparent porosity of 0.7%, and an initial precipitation temperature of the vitreous phase at 1400°C.
