High-Performance Fused Cast 33 # AZS Block (RTK-AZS3- Top China Suppliers & Factory for Refractory Materials

RTK-AZS33 is a high-performance refractory material manufactured in China, designed specifically for the glass industry. This product excels in preventing contamination of molten glass, minimizing the formation of stones, bubbles, and matrix glass phase precipitation. Its exceptional resistance to both acidic and alkaline slags, as well as molten glass, makes it ideal for harsh chemical environments. RTK-AZS33 is suitable for various applications, including the upper structure of the melting end, side walls of the working pool, paving blocks, and forehearths. As a trusted supplier and factory of premium refractory materials in China, we ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards for performance and durability

    Brief Introduction

RTK fused cast AZS blocks are made of high-quality purified raw materials, using a special electric arc furnace, and a fused cast process that has undergone long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This process has almost no carbon contamination from the electrode. Due to the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, RTK fused cast AZS series have special and high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass, and have little contamination to the molten glass.

Fused cast AZS products can be divided into 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36 # AZS block (RTK-AZS36) and 33 # AZS block (RTK-AZS33) according to the different ZrO₂ content in the chemical composition.

RTK-AZS33, a high-performance refractory material, is particularly superior in preventing molten glass from being contaminated. It has little tendency to cause stones, bubbles and matrix glass phase precipitation in the glass. It is applicable to the upper structure of the melting end, the side wall of the working pool, the paving blocks and forehearth, etc.

Standardly poured AZS33 block is suitable for working tank, forehearth, superstructure and crown, while AZS33 poured without shrinkage cavities is suitable for tank sidewall, tank bottom, forehearth, C-shaped block, doghouse arch, superstructure and etc.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What are RTK fused cast AZS blocks made of?
RTK fused cast AZS blocks are manufactured from high-quality purified raw materials. They are produced in a special electric arc furnace using an oxidation fused cast process with long arc melting, which ensures almost zero carbon contamination from the electrodes.
How many types of RTK fused cast AZS blocks are available?
They are classified into three grades based on their ZrO₂ content: 33# AZS block (RTK-AZS33), 36# AZS block (RTK-AZS36), and 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41).
What are the main advantages of RTK-AZS33?
RTK-AZS33 is highly resistant to molten glass corrosion and has a very low tendency to produce stones, bubbles, or matrix glass phase precipitation, making it exceptionally effective at preventing glass contamination.
Where should standardly poured AZS33 blocks be used?
Standardly poured AZS33 blocks are ideal for applications in the working tank, forehearth, superstructure, and furnace crown.
When should I choose AZS33 blocks poured without shrinkage cavities?
Non-shrinkage AZS33 blocks are recommended for critical areas such as the tank sidewalls, tank bottom, forehearth, C-shaped blocks, doghouse arches, and superstructures.
What is the typical chemical composition of RTK-AZS33?
It typically consists of 33.5% ZrO₂, 15% SiO₂, with Al₂O₃ forming the remainder, and contains less than or equal to 2.0% of other oxides (Fe₂O₃, TiO₂, CaO, MgO, Na₂O, K₂O).
