Introducing RTK-AZS33, a premium refractory material crafted in China, renowned for its exceptional performance in preventing contamination of molten glass. This high-quality product minimizes the occurrence of stones, bubbles, and matrix glass phase precipitation, ensuring a superior glass quality. With outstanding resistance to both acidic and alkaline slags as well as molten glass, RTK-AZS33 is ideal for challenging chemical environments. It is perfectly suited for use in critical applications such as the upper structure of the melting end, working pool side walls, paving blocks, and forehearths. As a leading supplier and factory in the refractory industry, we are committed to providing top-notch materials to meet your needs

    Brief Introduction

RTK fused cast AZS blocks are made of high-quality purified raw materials, using a special electric arc furnace, and a fused cast process that has undergone long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This process has almost no carbon contamination from the electrode. Due to the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, RTK fused cast AZS series have special and high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass, and have little contamination to the molten glass.
Fused cast AZS products can be divided into 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36# AZS block (RTK-AZS36) and 33# AZS block (RTK-AZS33) according to the different ZrO₂ content in the chemical composition.
RTK-AZS33, a high-performance refractory material, is particularly superior in preventing molten glass from being contaminated. It has little tendency to cause stones, bubbles and matrix glass phase precipitation in the glass. It is applicable to the upper structure of the melting end, the side wall of the working pool, the paving blocks and forehearth, etc.
Standardly poured AZS33 block is suitable for working tank, forehearth, superstructure and crown, while AZS33 poured without shrinkage cavities is suitable for tank sidewall, tank bottom, forehearth, C-shaped block, doghouse arch, superstructure and etc.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are RTK fused cast AZS blocks made of?
They are made from high-quality purified raw materials using a special electric arc furnace, undergoing long arc melting and oxidation treatment to ensure minimal carbon contamination from the electrodes.
How are RTK fused cast AZS blocks classified?
They are categorized into three types based on their ZrO₂ content: RTK-AZS41 (41# AZS block), RTK-AZS36 (36# AZS block), and RTK-AZS33 (33# AZS block).
What are the main advantages of RTK-AZS33?
RTK-AZS33 is highly resistant to molten glass corrosion and prevents glass contamination, with a very low tendency to cause stones, bubbles, or matrix glass phase precipitation.
Where is standardly poured AZS33 block typically applied?
Standardly poured AZS33 blocks are ideal for the working tank, forehearth, superstructure, and crown of glass melting furnaces.
What is the application difference for AZS33 poured without shrinkage cavities?
Unlike standard casting, AZS33 without shrinkage cavities is specifically suited for tank sidewalls, tank bottoms, forehearths, C-shaped blocks, doghouse arches, and superstructures.
What is the typical bulk density and porosity of these AZS blocks?
The dense part of the block has a typical bulk density of 3.80 g/cm³ and an apparent porosity of 0.7%.
