High Corrosion Resistant Fused Cast 41# AZS Block - Reliable China Suppliers & Factory for Glass Furnace Components

Introducing the RTK-AZS41, a premium product from China known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and minimal impact on molten glass. This material is ideally suited for components in glass furnaces, including fully electric melting furnaces, throats, weirs, bubbler blocks, and doghouse corner blocks—all demanding high corrosion resistance. Our advanced formulation features a primary chemical composition of SiO₂, Al₂O₃, and ZrO₂, sourced from high purity alumina, zircon sand, and zirconia. The precise ratios of these raw materials ensure a pure texture and a well-structured crystal phase. Each batch is meticulously tested for chemical composition, along with its physical and chemical properties, before usage. As a leading supplier and factory in the industry, we guarantee top-quality materials tailored to meet your specific requirements

    Brief Introduction

RTK fused cast AZS blocks are made of high-quality purified raw materials, using a special electric arc furnace, and a fused cast process that has undergone long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This process has almost no carbon contamination from the electrode. Due to the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, RTK fused cast AZS series have special and high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass, and have little contamination to the molten glass.
Fused cast AZS products can be divided into 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36 # AZS block (RTK-AZS36) and 33 # AZS block(RTK-AZS33) according to the different ZrO₂ content in the chemical composition. In addition, on the basis of RTK-AZS36 and RTK-AZS33 manufacturing processes, the content of corresponding chemical components of SiO₂ and Na₂O has been reduced, and two products, 36 # low silicon low sodium AZS blocks (RTK-AZS36D) and 33 # low silicon low sodium AZS blocks (RTK-AZS33D), have been formed. These five products are further classified according to different casting methods, which can meet the different use requirements of fused cast products in glass furnaces.
RTK-AZS41 has high corrosion resistance and low pollution to molten glass, and is suitable for parts in glass furnace that require high corrosion resistance, such as fully electric melting furnace, throat, weir, bubbler block, and doghouse corner block.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What are RTK fused cast AZS blocks made of?

A1: They are made of high-quality purified raw materials using a special electric arc furnace, followed by a fused cast process featuring long arc melting and oxidation treatment.

Q2: How are fused cast AZS products classified by chemical composition?

A2: Fused cast AZS blocks are divided into 41# (RTK-AZS41), 36# (RTK-AZS36), and 33# (RTK-AZS33) based on their ZrO₂ content, along with low silicon low sodium versions (RTK-AZS36D and RTK-AZS33D).

Q3: Which glass furnace parts are suitable for RTK-AZS41 blocks?

A3: RTK-AZS41 is ideal for high-corrosion areas such as fully electric melting furnaces, throats, weirs, bubbler blocks, and doghouse corner blocks.

Q4: Why do RTK fused cast AZS blocks cause little contamination to molten glass?

A4: Because of the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, electrode carbon contamination is minimized, resulting in high corrosion resistance and clean glass output.

Q5: What are the typical physical properties of these AZS blocks?

A5: They feature a bulk density of 4.05 g/cm³ (dense part), an apparent porosity of 0.6%, and an initial vitreous phase precipitation temperature of 1400°C.

Q6: What specific gravity variations exist based on casting methods?

A6: The calculated specific gravity varies by casting method: 3.65 g/cm³ for ordinary/inclined casting, 3.90 g/cm³ for quasi-non shrinkage casting, and 4.00 g/cm³ for non-shrinkage casting.
