    Brief Introduction

Fused cast zirconia blocks are high zirconia refractories made by melting high purity raw materials through special casting process. The series of molten high zirconium bricks mainly includes RTK-Z9540 (zirconium content >89%) and RTK-Z9510 (zirconium content >93%) RTK-Z9540 Mineral composition: ZrO₂ (89%), SiO₂ (9%), Na₂O (0.05%).
The crystalline structure of fused cast zirconia blocks is mainly composed of baddeleyite, so it has extremely high corrosion resistance and low foaming rate characteristics. These advantages can prevent the contamination of the molten glass.
Fused cast zirconia block can be widely used in various glass furnaces, especially high quality and special glass furnaces, such as liquid crystal substrate glass furnace, high alumina glass furnace, borosilicate glass furnace, halogen lighting glass furnace, glass ceramic furnace, glass fiber furnace etc.
Zirconia refractory products are produced with PLC programmed special electric furnace and special material incubator. During casting, the shrinkage cavity block is obtained after molding. This casting method is generally used for cast zirconia block products.
Fused cast high zirconium brick is one of our four core products, and the main physical and chemical indexes of high zirconium brick series products produced by Reftech have reached the level of international mainstream suppliers, and the quality of products can be fully guaranteed.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What are fused cast zirconia blocks?
Fused cast zirconia blocks are premium high zirconia refractories manufactured by melting high purity raw materials inside a specialized electric furnace and processing them through a unique casting method.
Q2: What is the main difference between RTK-Z9540 and RTK-Z9510?
The main difference lies in their zirconium content. RTK-Z9540 contains a zirconium level greater than 89% (ZrO₂ 89%, SiO₂ 9%, Na₂O 0.05%), whereas RTK-Z9510 features a higher zirconium content exceeding 93%.
Q3: Why do fused cast zirconia blocks prevent glass contamination?
Their crystalline structure is predominantly composed of baddeleyite. This structure delivers extremely high corrosion resistance and an exceptionally low foaming rate, which effectively prevents the contamination of the molten glass.
Q4: What types of glass furnaces are these blocks suitable for?
They are widely applied in high-quality and specialty glass furnaces, including liquid crystal substrate glass furnaces, high alumina glass furnaces, borosilicate glass furnaces, halogen lighting glass furnaces, glass ceramic furnaces, and glass fiber furnaces.
Q5: How is the quality of Reftech's high zirconium bricks guaranteed?
Reftech produces zirconia refractory products using a PLC programmed special electric furnace and specialized material incubator. The physical and chemical indexes of these bricks meet the standards of international mainstream suppliers, ensuring fully guaranteed quality.
