Introducing the RTK-AZS36, a high-quality standard oxidation fused cast AZS block that stands out among China suppliers and factory offerings. This product is specifically engineered to provide exceptional resistance to the corrosion of molten glass while minimizing contamination, ensuring a balanced performance in demanding environments. The RTK-AZS36 exhibits remarkable resilience against both acid and alkaline slag, making it an ideal choice for harsh chemical settings. Perfect for critical applications, this AZS block is designed for components that come into direct contact with molten glass in glass furnaces, such as the melting end side walls, paving tiles, and doghouse areas. Choose RTK-AZS36 for reliable durability and performance in your glass manufacturing processes

    Brief Introduction

RTK fused cast AZS blocks are made of high-quality purified raw materials, using a special electric arc furnace, and a fused cast process that has undergone long arc melting and oxidation treatment. This process has almost no carbon contamination from the electrode. Due to the oxidation fused cast process and the use of high-purity raw materials, RTK fused cast AZS series have special and high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass, and have little contamination to the molten glass.

Fused cast AZS products can be divided into 41# AZS block (RTK-AZS41), 36 # AZS block (RTK-AZS36) and 33 # AZS block(RTK-AZS33) according to the different ZrO₂, content in the chemical composition. In addition, on the basis of RTK-AZS36 and RTK-AZS33 manufacturing processes, the content of corresponding chemical components of SiO₂ and Na₂O has been reduced, and two products, 36 # low silicon low sodium AZS blocks (RTK-AZS36D) and 33 # low silicon low sodium AZS blocks (RTK-AZS33D), have been formed. These five products are further classified according to different casting methods, which can meet the different use requirements of fused cast products in glass furnaces.

RTK-AZS36 is a standard oxidation fused cast AZS block, which has the characteristics of particularly high resistance to the corrosion of molten glass and low contamination, and its performance in these two aspects is balanced. It is applicable to the parts in direct contact with the molten glass in the glass furnace, such as the side wall of the melting end, the paving tiles and the doghouse.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What are RTK fused cast AZS blocks made of?

RTK fused cast AZS blocks are manufactured using high-quality purified raw materials in a special electric arc furnace, undergoing a long arc melting and oxidation treatment process.

Q2: How are RTK fused cast AZS blocks classified?

They are classified into 41# AZS (RTK-AZS41), 36# AZS (RTK-AZS36), and 33# AZS (RTK-AZS33) based on the ZrO₂ content in their chemical composition.

Q3: What are the low silicon low sodium versions of these blocks?

On the basis of the standard manufacturing processes, the SiO₂ and Na₂O contents are reduced to form RTK-AZS36D and RTK-AZS33D, offering specialized performance for glass furnaces.

Q4: Where is the RTK-AZS36 block typically applied?

RTK-AZS36 is ideal for parts in direct contact with molten glass, such as the side walls of the melting end, paving tiles, and the doghouse.

Q5: Why do these AZS blocks have low contamination to molten glass?

The oxidation fused cast process and high-purity raw materials ensure high resistance to glass corrosion and prevent carbon contamination from the electrodes.

Q6: What is the typical bulk density of RTK-AZS36 blocks?

The dense part of the RTK-AZS36 block features a typical bulk density of 3.90 g/cm³.
